 before after
2006 has come and gone. In some ways, it went by so fast, and in others, it went by too slow. But I'm glad that it's done. It was probably the most challenging year of my life. There are so many things that a year can bring. I find myself going into 2007, looking forward to my wedding, most of all, looking forward to my marriage. 2006 became that fork in the road for me, and 2007 is that part that's just around the bend. a path you can't see quite so clearly.
My family has a lot to look forward to. A wedding on June 23rd, for my brother, and my wedding on October 6th in Whistler. 2007 also marks the beginning of the end of my youngest brother's highschool career.
This past year was a year full of the good, the bad, and the ugly for me, but I guess, it was like that for most everyone. All we can do now is bring the lessons we've learned from all of that into the new year.
The first day of the year always brings so much hope. With as many lessons, as anyone may have learned in the past year, it also marks a day when we can place the past behind us and work with a clean slate.
May your 2007 be spirit-filled. And I pray that you all are able to find yourself where God wants you to be. | | |

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! The Christmas Season isn't over yet

| oh 2006, as challenging as it's been, the end seems to bring promise to new chapters in everyone's lives. 8 of my close friends are getting married to each other. when the new year rang in, i had dinner with some of my closest friends, and we were celebrating new relationships, one engagement, and relationships heading into marriage. a year later, we have one marriage, 3 engagements, and more to come, i hope.
i can't wait to see what 2007 will bring.
to the newest couples to the club... LUIGI & KIM / GELO & JANICE ....AAAAAAHHHHH!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

| DRESS SHOPPING UPDATE: I got my dress!!!!
And it was completely different from what I thought I wanted. When I didn't want to take it off, I knew it was the one. Hahaa. Now when I think about the wedding in terms of the dress fittings and the dress shipping, it really doesn't seem like such a long time.
Church, Reception Venue, Photographer, Wedding Gown all done. Florist, Cake and Marriage Prep Retreat almost done. Now, it's really just all of the details. Invitations, centrepieces, wedding rings, giveaways, the guestbook, ceremony details, music, and the guest list (the one thing that stresses me out when i think about it). I'm sure there are way more things on that list of things to do. But every time we cross something off, it's one thing closer to the wedding.
Actually planning the wedding is completely different than what I had thought it'd be like.
